Corzo is Bacardi's super-premium original Tequila, and one of the first in this category. After a long run, market evolution had left the original packaging off-target. They approached Singular Glass intending to reposition the brand centered on the craftsmanship and excellence of their master distillers.

THE SOLUTION
We wanted to create a visually iconic bottle that would position the brand at the forefront of the ultra-premium category, and present this product born of the passion and pride of the master distillers in Arandas. The final package was a balance between profoundly rooted traditional values, the best raw ingredients, an ideal process born of experience and the spirit of the best of Mexican design.
We researched the history of the category and the brand. Found inspiration on organic spiral growth of the agave plant, dived into the chromatic culture of Mexico and incorporated many subtle details and discoveries within the design that included new custom typography and font choices.
At the time of the project development, Corzo was the premium brand on Bacardi's tequila portfolio. After the acquisition of Patrón, one of the world's best-selling brands, the implementation of the newly designed custom glass bottle and label entered a hiatus.
