The brand celebrates the Irish immigrants' role in conforming modern Mexico with this unique spirit, wild-harvested on the Coahuila Desert, and distilled, like Irish whiskey, into oak casks.

Sotol is a spirit of Mexican origin, distilled from the Dasylirion Wheeleri and Dasylirion Texanum plants that grow in Northern Mexico and Texas. For centuries Native Americans used this plant as a source of tools extensively and fermented its juice. It is not a Mezcal, but it shares with it and Tequila a protected designation of origin.
Made by hand from the hearts of wild-harvested sotol plants, Dalton & Riley Sotol is a premium spirit that tastes definitely of the land, hard and earthy, like the desert air right after a much-needed rain. The custom-designed glass bottle and label evoke the breath of the desert in this original spirit.
