The spirit of ancestral Mezcal is alive and well on the town of San Baltazar Guelavila in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. Triple distillation on clay pots presented on a traditional one-litre bottle. It holds generations of experience and love for the craft.

Following the discovery stage of our process, we presented this brandscape to explain the visual language direction of the project: a continuous thread from the first people that first set foot on the Oaxaca Valley until today. Deep roots and simple tools, these unapologetic spirits transmit the roughness of its origin embedded on the sublime note of its essence.
El Nueve is the core of life in San Baltazar Guelavia, a process of love and hope for a better future. We are honoured to have participated in this project.
